Put your tasks in the order you want. Every list, and Today, Overdue, Upcoming and the Calendar page, now has its own Sort by, and this release fixes a card editor that could erase a task's time and attachments.
What's new
- Sort any list your way
- Open a list's menu and choose Sort by: My order, Date ascending, Date descending, Title or Recently updated. Sorting only changes what you see, so your list's order in Google Tasks stays as it is. Any sort other than My order turns off drag-to-reorder in that list until you switch back.
- Sort Today, Upcoming and the Calendar page
- Today, Overdue, Upcoming and the Calendar page each have a Sort by in their header, with one more option: by list, so tasks from the same list sit together. Each view remembers its own choice.
- Overdue on the Upcoming page follows its sort
- On the Upcoming page, the Overdue tasks now use the same sort as the rest of the page, which starts at Recently updated. To get the old oldest-first order back, choose Date ascending. Overdue on the Today page keeps its own sort, oldest first unless you change it.
Fixes
- Editing a task right on its card showed KiteTasks' hidden task data in the notes, and deleting it removed the task's time, priority and attachments. The card now shows only your notes and keeps the rest intact.
- Board cards could stop responding to clicks after you opened the task sidebar. Clicks now always land, and the columns stay put while the sidebar slides in.
- In the List layout, changing a date on Today, or switching to another app with a date picker open, could open the top task in the sidebar. It now stays closed.
- Today, Upcoming and Completed could go empty after you hid one account and then signed out of the other. With a single account nothing can be hidden, and the last account you show can't be hidden.
