KiteTasks now speaks French and Traditional Chinese. The whole Mac app and its widgets are translated, and you can type dates and times in either language.

Your lists, in your order. Drag lists in the sidebar to arrange them, and the board, Quick Add and the menu bar follow. Task cards also show a task's emails and links, one click away.

Faster widgets. Checking off a task in a widget now shows the checkmark much sooner, even when you check off several in a row, and the task stays checked.

Put your tasks in the order you want. Every list, and Today, Overdue, Upcoming and the Calendar page, now has its own Sort by, and this release fixes a card editor that could erase a task's time and attachments.

Your month, right on your desktop. The new Month widget marks each day's events and due tasks and keeps today's agenda beside it — and editing a task now saves only what you changed, so an edit from another device stays put.

Your month, in one view. The new Calendar page lays out every day of the month with your tasks on their due dates, right next to your calendar events — and search now looks through every account you're signed in to.

Any list, right on your desktop. The new List widget pins one task list where you can see it — in your own order or by due date — and you can check tasks off without opening the app.

Tasks come in batches, so now you can handle them that way. ⌘-click or ⇧-click to select several tasks at once, then complete, reschedule, move or delete the whole lot in one go.

Your calendar, on your desktop. A new Calendar widget shows today's schedule or the week ahead, the Today widget can carry your events above your tasks, and you can tell it to leave overdue tasks out.

A right-click menu for every task. Mark it done, make it due today or tomorrow, pick a date from a calendar, move it to another list or open it in Google Tasks — all without opening the task. Plus adding tasks straight from Today, and a smoother move-to-list from the details panel.

All your Google accounts, one view. Today, Upcoming and Completed now gather tasks from every account you're signed in to, and the sidebar lets you choose exactly which accounts and lists show up — your calendars follow along.

KiteTasks can now live in your menu bar with the dock icon out of the way, and the whole app — Today widget included — speaks German. Quick Add reads dates in your language too: type "morgen", "mañana", "明日" or "내일" and it picks the day.

KiteTasks comes to your desktop: a new Today widget shows today's tasks, lets you check them off, and adds new ones with Quick Add — all without opening the app.

Codex joins Claude: connect KiteTasks to Codex from Settings → AI Assistants with one click — or a single terminal command — and Codex can read, add, and update your tasks. Plus reliability fixes for sign-in and attachment uploads.

KiteTasks now connects to Claude, thanks to a built-in MCP server. Add KiteTasks to Claude Desktop in one click from Settings — Claude Code and other MCP clients work too — and let your assistant manage tasks across all your accounts, privately, on your Mac.

Search results now show you why they matched: the words you searched for are highlighted right in each result, and when a match lives in a task's notes, you'll see a short snippet with the part that matched marked for you.

Times and reminders arrive: set a time on any task and KiteTasks reminds you right when it's due. Quick Add reads the time straight from what you type, and date and time now share a single popover so scheduling is one stop.

Small refinements that smooth out the everyday: press Esc to close the task detail sidebar, and input fields now focus reliably so you can start typing right away. Behind the scenes, we're laying the groundwork to bring KiteTasks to more of your devices.

Drag and drop arrives: reorder tasks, nest them as subtasks, or move them between lists — across Kanban columns and All Boards. Tasks now follow your Google Tasks order, reordering feels instant, and completing a task checks off its subtasks everywhere.

Attachments arrive: drop Google Drive files or local files onto any task. Completed tasks get their own home, and a new Accounts panel manages every Google connection in one place.

Google Calendar comes to KiteTasks. Connect your Google account and see events alongside Apple Calendar in Today and Upcoming, with per-calendar selection and clickable events.

KiteTasks ships: a native macOS app for Google Tasks with full-text search, Today view, natural language input, Quick Capture, and multi-account support.
